VILLAINESS AMBITION

January 30th, 1703


47 ronin avenged their master who was forced to commit seppuku for assaulting a corrupt government official by killing him at his residence.  They plotted and waited 2 years before attacking.   The ronin then marched 10 kilometers with the official’s head to the grave of their master before turning themselves in.  46 of the 47 committed seppuku as ordered by the shogun.
